Love this car!

I love my tuscon. It's incredibly comfortable, safe, and fuel efficient. I drive long distances to work and it's made my commute my "zen" time instead of a burden.

It started out great but now not so great.

Car left me stranded then 11 days at the dealership to replace a water pump. No loaner available. One reason I bought the car was the warranty. Finding out the warranty is no better than the dealership servicing it. I’ve had two miserable dealership episodes. Sometimes it seems the transmission is acting up. I’m losing faith in its reliability.

Exceeds My Expectations

Very peppy whether on battery or gas usage. Cargo area is more spacious than it appears. I'm pleased with the capacity even when the seats are up. The ride can be a little harsh on a rough road, but it is incredibly quite on smooth surfaces. I really like the interior appearance, and the seats are comfortable for the cross-state trips I've taken.

Good for convinience and comfort. Good safety features.

Back up volume sometime is erirrarting, good for safety, however at night is nusence. Suggested volume control. Car door does not lock automatically when you leave from car.

The vehicle rides smoothly, except in some acceleration situations. Would like to see the fully charged battery get 10 to 15 more miles per charge..

Excellent Car

This is a perfect vehicle for around town and short commute. We use very little gas, based on our needs. Easy to drive, lots of room for groceries and gear.

Too much tech. Not able to turn off reverse backup signal, annoying & irritating. Unable to fix emergency alert horn sounding. Solution, disconnect completely.

Hyundai Tucson Plug in Hybrid

I love my Hyundai. I knew I wanted a car that had a plug in hybrid. I test drove a Hybrid model at a dealership in Nebraska when the weather wasn’t the best. The moment I sat in the car I knew it was my car. I had never felt more comfortable in a vehicle than the Tucson. Unfortunately, Nebraska did not have Plug in Hybrids so I began the search and started chatting with dealerships in Oregon and Colorado. The day I graduated I got a call from McDonald Hyundai in CO and they told me the first buyer backed out, so I hopped into my dad’s car and we drove 8hrs to buy the car the next day. Fast forward, my dad needed a new car 2 months later and i convinced him to get the new Santa Fe. We both have been super happy with our purchases. I am now in Arizona with my vehicle saving so much money on gas driving about 65 miles each day to work. This is the best car ever! (Actually, it would be even better if I had wireless CarPlay!!)
