Good features and overall pricing with the poor build quality

I have been using this car for 2+ years now. I use cars with utmost care and timely maintenance but this car just shows its poor build quality every time I ride it. Among all the features - rain sensing wipers, remote rear door closing, and wireless charger are the top 3 useless features that never work as expected on this vehicle. Inside panels get scratched easily, key fob already looks like 50 y/o car fob with all chip off and scratches. I cannot keep my key fob on a restaurant table with pride. I have to hide my car identity with this poor key fob and the key fob will be the main reason I will replace this car.

2024 Tucson

Love the car based on the purchase price. I do miss additional features that my 2016 Toyota Camry had but are not present in my plain 2024 Hyundai. I will look forward to looking for more features with my next purchase!

Nice SUV, but needs improvements.

It's a very attractive vehicle and nice to drive. However, it lacks durability. The paint is thin, swirls, and scratches too easily. The interior scratches, gouges and discolors. I had groceries in the cargo area that spilled. A can rolled into the plastic trim and put a large scratch in the finish.

Concerning Safety Feature that Cannot Be Truly Disabled

Ride and reliability so far the 2024 Hyundai Tucson limited receives my praise. Where it falls short and leads to potential danger, is the automatic braking for collision avoidance. I have had it activate three times, almost resulting in an accident from the unexpected braking, despite turning it off in the vehicle settings menu at the start of my drive. My local Hyundai dealership said they would attempt to turn it off, only to find out it is not allowed and that despite showing it’s turned off the future reactivates after a certain time period during vehicle operation. I now utilize continuously recording dash cams, because if this safety feature causes an accident I will pursue legal action Hyundai for making an unreliable feature mandatory. It’s very deceiving, being told you have control over the features only to find out the options you select reset after a time period without the car being turned off.

I wish the seats would go back further so my legs could be stretched out further and the car and the seats were just a little bit wider like two more inches it would be so much more comfortable
