Smooth, Quiet & Quick!

Got this, my first electric vehicle, to experience the future of the automotive industry now. For forty years, only gas cars with manual transmissions, for me. Knew that EVs don't have a transmission to shift, so had ho give that up. A big bonus that I did not buy the car for is that the 0-60 mph is noticeably quicker than any car I have ever driven. The build inside and out is very solid and the hatchback cargo area is quite large. With the rear seats down, an adult sized bicycle lies down without having to remove either wheel. Another bonus is that I honestly think it's certainly in the top 20% for looks, though I changed out the wheels.

What you didn't know about Electric Vehicles

First, if you have capability to charge at home, its a no brainer. Around the Pacific NW, a kilowatt of electricity costs about 11 cents. My EV 6 GT (576 horsepower) at 60 mph on freeway will easily achieve 3 miles per kilowatt of battery power ... less powerful model will get 4 to 5 miles per kilowatt. Roughly estimating a dollar of electricity charged at home will get about 30 miles of range on the GT. How far will your gas engine car go on a dollar of fuel? The numbers change a little if you cannot charge at home and have to use public charging stations. Those costs can vary from 20 cents to 50 cents a kilowatt, depending on the speed of the charger and the vendor. Otherwise, this car is a hoot ... like having an amusement park ride in your garage!
