1997 Toyota land Cruiser
It started as a Leased vehicle which I purchased at the end of my contract. It soon became a family member. It is always been reliable and sure footed. My Kids soon named it the mule, out of love and respect. I have had several forerunners but nothing like my Landcruiser. My mechanic at York Auto Group in York Pennsylvania named John Howery, with his Expertise and Experience has kept it running in tip top shape, going on 18 years. The Manager at York Auto Group Collision Center, Jeff Dorsey and his staff keeps it looking like the day I pulled it off the showroom lot. My wife drives the cruiser more than I do now. She says she feels safe and loves the respect she gets on the highway. I just took it for a spin in the 2016 blizzard, 30.2 inches of snow in York Pa. Buried her in a drift just so I could use the low range gears, just to watch and listen as it transforms into a beast. I am now 68 years old and a retired Baltimore City Firefighter, with 30 plus years of service and my 1997 Toyota Land Cruiser makes me feel like a young man again. Thankfully I also own a 2002 Lexus SC 430, hard top convertible, that's also cared for my the York Auto Group staff. My grandkids now call that one, "The Silver Transformer". So all in all, that's my Toyota story. I would like to say one thing in closing. With the help of Toyota Vehicles, Service, and Staff, my wife and I, kids and grandkids, now have all happy memories and trails. Sincerely, Albert Foster and Family
