So, I brought my 2000 1.8T FWD 5spd Passat in for some much need work. I had been putting off having
the wheel bearings replace for some time but it had to be done.
So, as the work was being completed the mechanic noticed my steering rack was leaking and bad, they informed me, and I authorized the work. The work took long than planned due to the new rack leaking, (no fault of the shop, vender issue) but the work was completed and when I picked up my car!, WOW driving it was a real treat as the steering is tight and responsive. Everything Euro did an amazing jog with every aspic of the work required.
