Devekio said the business lied to him. They told him they had checked his transmission, but all they did was add some fluid to it. He said he knows he needs a new transmission. He ended up taking it to his own mechanic who told him they had not even dropped the pan. The bolt that holds the pan in place was still rusted in place.

WE CHECKED YOUR TRANS FLUID, ADDED FLUID AND ROAD TESTED YOUR VEHICLE. YOU HAD 27 TRANS FAULTS STORED, AND WE RECOMMENDED REMAN TRANS EST AT 3500.00. THERE WAS NO REASON TO DROP YOUR PAN & CHARGE YOU THE LABOR FROM SEEING THE CONDITION OF YOUR TRANS FLUID. IF YOU LOOK AT YOUR INVOICE YOU WERE ONLY CHARGED LESS THAN $60 FOR A CHECK ENGINE LIGHT, ROAD TEST & THE FLUID WHICH IS MORE THAN FAIR. WE ARE PROFESSIONALS & TAKE PRIDE IN OUR SERVICE & ALWAYS LOOK IN THE BEST INTEREST OF OUR CUSTOMERS. DROPPING THE PAN WAS AN UNNECESSARY EXPENSE YOU DIDN'T NEED & IF YOU LOOK CLOSELY YOU WERE NOT CHARGED NOR DID WE TELL YOU, WE DROPPED YOUR PAN. WE DO NOT LIE TO OUR CUSTOMERS. WE ARE SORRY YOU FEEL THIS WAY.
