Unprofessional, Incompetent, and Poor Communication
I visited the dealership to have a headlight replaced and there was no one able to inform customers into where to go to make requests for service. When I was able to find assistance I was told that the part that I was requesting would need to be ordered and most likely it would be available on Wednesday (4/19/2023) and if not I will be notified via text updates concerning status of delivery. The person that assisted me informed me about other repairs that I would need after evaluating the car. I expressed that at the moment I’m only concerned with the headlight and would not be able to afford all of the repairs at the moment but they were persistent in me buying more service to the car. I was sent home with a receipt with no official return date (4/17/2023)and throughout the day afterwards I received no text updates or phone call concerning the order they placed on the part. I decided to show up Wednesday morning because the person who assisted me verbally told me that the part should be in the shop by then and I was met with the worker attempting to scold me in front of the other customers for coming when I was never given an update or confirmation concerning anything about the appointment. I was also asked about the other series of possible repairs needed again and I simply asked about the price of it all together because he only gave this information verbally and he responded that “I should know because he sent me home with the information” when the only source of information that I was given was the receipt for the headlight and potential installation and the prices of the list of the other potential repairs were never listed. Later I was told that it turns out they ordered the wrong bulb for the headlight and I will be notified when they order the correct one.I decided to leave so I can tend to my client who has a set schedule. I was called by the person that assisted me when I was already a couple blocks from my clients house to go back to the dealership because turns out they had the right bulb the whole time.I returned my keys to them upon arrival and not too long after they told me I would have to pay extra because they “forgot of the low and high beams need to be installed” and I would need to pay a service fee and agreed to pay for installation . I started to become really irritated when they told me that there was a situation going on with my front bumper and they will probably have to use zip ties to secure it and it “might not look the same as before”. Then I was notified that they weren’t able to secure the bumper with zip ties so they have to order glue to properly secure it. I managed to get my car back from them with the bumper secured and it appeared that all of my lights on both sides were working. I recently turned on my lights which is the same day that they were worked on and discovered that the top left corner of my headlight on the drivers side has been disabled despite the fact that this part of the headlight was fully functional before I took it back to the dealership. I don’t recommend coming to this dealership for repairs or simple purchases because the employees are only focused on making sales and accumulating service fees. My client missed his class and the rest of his schedule and routine of the day was completely disrupted because of the incompetence and lack of professionalism.
