The shop is neat and professionally equipped, staff are personable and competent. I liked Amr and wish him well. However, I was clear about my budget and priority on mechanical function over appearance on my 27 year old model 323is with front end damage. Initial full repair (mechanical and cosmetic) estimate was within budget, so I authorized to proceed. After the full budget had been expended I was told additional vital mechanical item (water pump) was need and an additional $2K added to the original estimate. I now have almost 3x the value of the car into the repair. Would never have agreed to the work had the final amount been on the table. Further the repairs is not even complete- 3 trim items are missing and the hood is too heavy to stay up without a support rod.
