State Inspection
The mechanic informed me the truck would fail due to the "Vermont Strong" Plate not having the original plate behind it. Another employee asked if that was the only reason and he stated yes. I asked if I could go home and get it and he said no - I couldn't leave, I would have to make another appointment for the following week. I was able to call and have some one bring me the plate so as not to have to make a second appointments and while I was waiting, the original mechanic came back out and said "I found another reason to fail it, your dump sticker is not on the right side." I felt like he was just looking for a reason, he had already stated it would only fail due to the plate, then he came back with more. I know you make twice as much money if you fail it and I felt that was your goal.
