bait & switch
Horrible company that offers high, a lot more than anyone else, and then has you take the car to a third party for an inspection. My inspection came back claiming structural damage and dashboard lights on. The dashboard was clear of all lights, and the car had never been in an accident and had no structural damage. They ended up coming back with a final offer of more than 60% less than the initial offer. They then gave me issues trying to get my car back from the third party (in this case manheim) and had to threaten to sue in order to get them to give me permission to get my own car.
