STOLE MY KEY AND NEVER FINISHED THE WORK
WHERE DO I START..HIRED THIS MAN IN NOVEMBER WHEN MY CAR BROKE DOWN. HE TOOK ON THE JOB WITHOUT DISCLOSING THE FACT HIS BACK WAS OUT AND WAS ABOUT TO HAVE SURGERY . I HAD MY CAR TOWED TO MY JOB AND HE WAS SUPPOSED TO FIX IT THERE OR HAVE IT TOWED TO HIS HOME, NEVER HAPPENED. HE STATES HE WORKED AT NIGHT BECAUSE WE NEVER SAW HIM DURING THE DAY. HE STATED THE DIAGNOSIS WOULD BE $75 BUT ENDED UP CHARGING US $150 BECAUSE IT WAS "EXTENSIVE". HE WAS PAID FOR THE DIAGNOSIS AND ANOTHER $600 FOR PARTS, ONCE THE JOB WAS FINISHED HE WAS TO GET THE REST.
KEEP IN MIND WE ARE NOW IN MARCH AND THIS MAN HAS STILL NOT FINISHED THE WORK. NEXT, HE SAYS FUEL PUMP REPLACED DID NOT WORK SO WE NEED TO TAKE MY CAR TO THE DEALERSHIP FOR REPROGRAMMING. BY THIS TIME WE WERE SO OVER IT AND HIGHLY UPSET. CLARENCE STATED THAT HE COULD NO LONGER WORK ON THE CAR BECAUSE HE WAS GOING INTO BACK SURGERY AND WOULD TRY TO HAVE "A FRIEND" FINISH THE WORK. WE SAID NO THANKS JUST GIVES US OUR KEY SO WE CAN GET ON OUR WAY AND GET THIS HANDLED. HE DID NOT RETURN THE KEY BECAUSE HE SAID HE STILL NEEDED TO BE PAID FOR HIS LABOR ALTHOUGH THE CAR WAS STILL NON WORKING. WE PAID AGAIN TO HAVE OUR CAR TOWED TO OUR HOME WHILE WE LOOKED FOR ANOTHER MECHANIC, THEN HAD IT TOWED AGAIN TO A SHOP. ALMOST $1000 DOWN THE DRAIN WITH THIS THIEF AND STILL NO KEY. I TEXTED SEVERAL TIMES TO TRY TO COME TO A UNDERSTANDING ON WHAT HE "THOUGHT" HE SHOULD GET PAID AND HE NEVER RESPONDED.
OH BY THE WAY...IT WASN'T THE FUEL PUMP!! THE MAN REPLACED A PART ON MY CAR THAT WORKED FINE!!!!! THIS EXPERIENCE WAS A TOTAL NIGHTMARE AND CONTINUES TO BE BECAUSE HE STILL HASN'T RETURNED MY KEY, HE KNOWS WHERE I WORK AND COULD TAKE MY CAR ANYTIME.
I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS MAN TO MY WORST ENEMY. EVERY TIME HE ASKED FOR $ OR ANTIFREEZE OR WHATEVER HE WANTED WE COMPLIED. HE STOLE FROM US AND LEFT US HIGH AND DRY.
WORST MECHANIC EVER AND I KNOW IF ANYTHING EVER HAPPENS TO MY VEHICLE HE IS THE ONLY OTHER PERSON TO HAVE A KEY.
DO THE RIGHT THING SIR, RETURN MY KEY.
