I have two issues. It may be possible but it's hard to believe that the new starter was "fine" after the mechanic installed it but became defective upon my first use. My second issue is when talking to David on Monday morning, he said they would look at it but defensive and even suggested that could might be something else wrong with the car. At the end of Monday, David simply called to say the car was done and ready to be picked up. No explanation of what happened, I had to ask. In a matter of fact tone, he explained that the starter was defective. When I asked how that wasn't discovered by the technician doing the work, he defensively stated that their technicians always start the car 4 or 5 times to test it. (So this part apparently operated perfectly for 4 or 5 starts while in their hands and instantly became defective in mine?) Regardless, no apologies from David for the inconvenience.
Something doesn't feel right. My confidence and trust in this business has been shaken.

We use the best parts we can buy and have the best warranty in the buisness.I spoke with the mechanic that did the work on your vehicle and he assured me that he started it several times before he brought the paperwork in to the front office.I,m so very sorry
you had a problem with the starter we installed in your car and
for the way that David was defensive about the problem when you came back on monday.The starter was bad, its unusual for that to happen in such a short time span.We got the starter replaced to us under warranty and got it installed in your car under warranty and should have keept you posted on what was going on in a pleastant way.I'm sorry for our short comming's all around. Thanks for being a great customer over last 10 years.
