I've been going to Freddies for over 10 years with great results. Unfortunately Freddie pasted away and things have changed. I could go there and get a wide amount of mechanical work done on my vehicles - that is no more. Biggest problem are with an employee - the origional Freddie hired him but kept him in check/managed. He's a younger man thats condescending to clients (lots of client complaints in waiting room) and does so-so mechanic work at best. A couple times ago I went in and needed 3 things done on my vehicle - hours later one thing was done. I'll keep this short - final straw - I brought in a well maintained vehicle to be smogged. He failed it saying an EVAP hose was porous - I got home, looked at this hose carefully, it was not porous. My check engine light would have been on if it were - it was not. I went to another smog place the next day and it passed with flying colors. I was charged $46 for "Freddies" smog failure and plan to take them to civil court for a refund. Fast Freddie was a great place that did a lot of mechanical repairs in the past. I was happy with service there - no more.
I have 6 older vehicles and will be going elsewhere from this point forward.
