Overpriced services
I had my Ford F350 in for a clutch pedal that was broken. They repaired it to the tune of $380. Less than a month later the clutch pedal was broken again so I took it back. Supposedly it was a part of the clutch pedal they didn't touch and it said it was not covered by a warranty. They then said it was going to be $300 to fix it, but offered to either just do it for free to make me happy, or I could pay half ($150) do they wouldn't be out so much. I agreed to pay half even though I think it should be covered by the warranty.

While the truck was in for the repair they also called and told me that there was a foul smell that almost always indicated a new clutch was needed soon. When I told them I had a new clutch put in less than a year ago they acted surprised and just dropped it.

They also said some other front end work was needed and gave an estimate of $900. I called around to three other places to get estimates and EVERY place was about $400 less!!!!

I get the distinct feeling they were trying to get as much money as they could regardless of what repairs were actually needed.
