Miss diagnosed
I explaind to Jon in detail what happened to my vehical, I accidentally left the ignition switch on( engine off ) and when I realized I did that I smelled a strong smell of fuel that reaked The truck would not start after several attempts so I took it in to Friendly Automotive. After a couple of hours I received a call telling me my engine was ceased. No longer functionable. It needs a new (or used) engine. After talking with other individuals who are not mechanics, I was told the engine was hydro locked. I explained that to Jon and it was investigated. Sure enough that's what it was. It took a back yard mechanic to give me a proper diagnosis. Friendly Automotive employees are professionals. They should have known better in stead of trying to sell me a new engine

Hi there, Thank you, George, for your feedback, you're right, upon initial inspection the vehicle came in and the engine was locked up! We did discuss engine replacement options.  I'm glad you came down so we can go through the truck together, both of us verifying your engine was indeed locked up, at which time we spoke at length about the events that led up to it, and you agreed to have us look into it further. We then found that the engine was full of fuel.  We legitimately have well over 100 years of experience and one of our technicians is a factory trained Toyota technician of over 11 years, and very familiar w/Toyota Tacoma's like yours. None of us have ever seen a vehicle fill itself full of fuel from leaving the ignition key on, even overnight.  That has happened to many people including myself and have never seen that before.  We are very sorry that we did not catch that on our initial inspection.  I'm super happy that your truck was able to be repaired and I appreciate your trust in allowing us to repair your truck!  I was pleased that the hydro lock condition did not further damage the engine, we are very lucky!  Again, I apologize that your experience was less than pleasant, but pleased your truck is running great after our repair! Thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback, I hope to serve you in the future!

Dishonest
Took in wife’s Expedition for A/C diagnostic. Leo said he inspected the A/C and found no evidence of a leak then was charged around 220$ for Freon and two valve replacements. In one week the A/C no longer blowing cold air. Took the car back, Leo said there was a leak in the condenser I wonder why it wasn’t found when he first did the inspection?? Then he gave me an estimate for a new condenser.

The same exact thing was done to our truck took the money then later said the truck AC needed a new compressor, This business is not trustworthy and we will be posting our review online we are very disappointed
