Is anyone there??
Have a fleet vehicle (which was disclosed to gearheads) that has some repairs that are going to be labor intensive…. So with that said pulling it out of my fleet is going to take coordination for both a quote and repair itself so as to schedule this being offline. Made an appointment for first thing a.m. drop off inspection/quote. After a few hours I called in about status and no one picked up…. Waited half an hour and called back. No pickup, so I left a message. Around lunch I was contacted with a verbal quote over the phone and informed they could get started the work in a couple days, but being it’s a fleet vehicle I could not have it out of service that long and I wanted to bring it back when they were ready to start…. That was not an option and I needed to schedule it for the following week. At this point I just requested they return my vehicle and I would coordinate week of to schedule. Upon return I walked in and no one was there…. I waited 20 minutes and still no one…. I called gearheads from their lobby…. No pickup. Finally I saw someone in a back office (who was there the entire time) walking out to the garage who I flagged down. He agreed to get my vehicle. Finally a service tech/mechanic brought me my vehicle and handed me my keys. I received no written quote or information on how best to follow up. Finally a week later…. I attempted to call to see how they’re scheduled looks…… and guess what, no one picked up.

We are sorry for what might appear like not answering our phone or being at the front counter when you walked in. In actuality, our phones ring almost constantly, usually there is more than 1 person answering the phones, buy you did catch us right in the middle of typical lunch times. Normally there is just 1 person up front but there are typically others in the office or in the shop. Our man at the front desk had literally just gone to the restroom before you walked in and was back in less than 10 minutes after we checked our security cameras from when you came in. We would not be happy if he were in fact gone for 20+ minutes either!

We don't typically call customers back if we don't have any new information on their vehicle or repairs. At times we are waiting on parts availability or pricing, mechanics to get freed up to go over a plan for your repair work to get you a comprehensive estimate. We strive to give the most accurate estimates and sometimes they take a little more time than we and our customers would like but believe in providing accurate information so you can make an informed decision.
