Hi Mr. Dale,
I would like to address some of your concerns. I looked into your visits with the radiator. I have also met with the Service Advisor and Service Technicians. Your concern about the labor charge: I see the original estimate that Mr. Mena reviewed with you and it has the cost of labor on it. When it was ordered on the first visit you paid for the part so it could be ordered. The second visit was for the labor. We charge when the part is ordered because it is a special ordered part, but it isn't fair to charge for the labor at that time because it hasn't been performed. Unfortunately a rock/impact to the radiator is not a warrantable item. The brand and the dealership did not cause this problem. We simply fixed it for you. I'm truly sorry you had this issue, but being upset with the brand and dealer is not fair. I reviewed the estimate and the labor is actually cheaper. He quoted $1080.83 and charged you $995.80. He also had two technicians work on your vehicle together to speed up the repair process. I completely understand it is frustrating having a new car and paying out of pocket for a repair. I'm available if you would like to go over your service visits. You can reach me directly at 985-801-1637
