Positive Service Experience
Bought a Genesis G-70 in last year. Love the car. Took it for service because of a noise. Service Department inspected the suspension. And went thru many step to diagnose the problem. A replacement part is now on order. In the meantime, they assured me the car is safe to drive. Service Department has the diagnostic equipment. And the expertise. We are very happy with Genesis of Madison Service!

Follow up on previous review
This is a follow up to my previous review about the Genesis service experience. Right after I posted that review, Roger, the service manager, called me personally to ask about my experience and to ask me specifically what my issues were.

I told him why I was disappointed, and he listened. He didn't get defensive or offer excuses. He just asked me for the chance to make things right. And that's exactly what he did.

My interactions with the Genesis dealership since writing that review have been nothing but positive, and I think that reflects very well on them.

While my initial experience with the Genesis service desk was disappointing, they've really changed my mind, and I'm convinced that Roger wants to make sure that everyone has a positive experience with him and his staff.

I really appreciate everything they've done for me.

In my original review, I asked if it were possible that they promised things but did not actually follow through.

It might be "possible" but it sure wasn't true. There was definitely follow up and above and beyond effort to resolve our issue.

I'm pleased to be able to say I was wrong.

Sales good, service bad?
In reply to our review of our vehicle delivery experience, the service manager said he would be in touch "today." No such contact has happened.

Could it be that promises to correct things are made but not actually followed through on? Could this be why the sales department has such good reviews but service not so much?

Is this the image Genesis wants to be projecting?

Easy process and pick up of vehicle.
We conducted most of the sale via email. Unlike many dealers, they responded promptly and provided all the details we asked for. We were at the dealership under two hours and half of that was just a rep going over the features of the car with us. All in all, a pretty painless experience. My only complaint: the pre-delivery prep was sub par. The driver's seat was dirty and the paint has tons of swirl marks from poor washing/polishing. Some polish wasn't removed. Kind of unacceptable in a luxury vehicle.

I love my Genesis car. The dealership service experience, however, has been sub-par. I've received better service at the Kia dealership, and the service I've received at the Infiniti dealership just blows Genesis out of the water.

Drove 200 miles to get to the best dealership
Zimbrick dealership (Genisis of Madison) was the ONLY dealership that gave me a great price, fantastic trade-in allowance, and didn't try to tack any additional charges to the deal! If you are in the market I recommend making the drive to get a great deal

The work i needed done was warranty work and so far so good. They recommended additional services which were a little premature but will be needed in the near future.
I like that they KNOW my car and I will return to them as long as its financially feasible to do so.
