I didn’t purchase from Genesis of Plano but you wouldn’t know that by the way they treat me. They are respectful and take care of me when I’m there. They are very respectful of my time and are usually able to get me in and out

Very friendly setting up appointment.
Even though I didn't wait to have my vehicle fixed, I noticed the waiting room was small and did not seem like a Genesis dealership. Ease of setting up a time to be serviced though. Very friendly phone staff.

Brought car in for tire repair due to nail
My car is very new. Just purchased at end of June. Took vehicle in for a tire repair 1st time and they did great and changed new tire. No issues. I took my car in on 8/9/21 for tire repair on same tire and they noted a nail was there and would just need to patch and they noted noted there was a recall on G80 part..so they checked. Then they came to me and said it’s time for your oil change and tire rotation. I said okay go ahead. After repairs was done I drove home and got on freeway and my brand new car did not sound brand new anymore. I’m hearing noise that were not there prior to me bringing my brand new $61,000 plus car in to just fix a tire. The next day I got more concerned because I had not drove my car after picking up & continued to here the unpleasant sound. G80 do not have any winning noises when purchasing. So I took my car back up to service and they had a mechanic ride with me & he verified that there was a noise and my car should not be sounding like that. They could not get me back in to look at my car until the following week, which will be Monday 8/16/21. It’s very disappointing when you take your car in for services for first time after getting a brand new car.. and noticing that someone in Service obviously may have done something wrong to your new vehicle and you have to wait the following week to get the vehicle looked at! We pay to much money and I feel they should have worked my car in to address the same day. Now I have to ride 4 more days with this noise.. not knowing if something worst will happen to my car. They did not Even look under the hood just to make sure it was not anything severe.

Not the best place for maintenance
I have had two service appointments here. The first was an oil change and had to bring the car back since they left the oil filter loose and my car dripped oil. The second visit, i called for another scheduled maintenance oil change and to ask them to order a Hood badge (covered under warranty) and when i got there i was told that was not done and that i would be called back when it arrived. I have still not received the call from them for the hood badge.

Service is timely and handled smoothly. I do not care for the use of Lyft
I don’t care for the use of Lyft in place of a shuttle service. This feels like a cheap alternative that makes me wonder what other corners are being cut. One of my Lyft drivers noted he has yet to get the COVID-19 vaccination.

The purpose of the Lyft service is to have multiple drivers for our clients instead of a shuttle that sometimes has 3-4 clients to take to work/home. Jack Winn and all the people @ Plano
Jack Winn's excellence in service provided us with a wonderful solution to our problem while away from home. We had a service light come on our G80. Once diagnostics was done, the thermostat needed to be replaced. Jack informed us that the only thermostat available was in Ontario, CA and our car would not be ready of a week. We explained that we needed to get home. Jack said he would get a rental for us and then deliver our car to our house. We were fine with that idea and felt relieved. Next Jack came back and told us the Sales Manager was having a thermostat removed from a 2020 G80 in showroom and placed in our car. We were given a car to use for the evening and picked up our car the next day!!!! NOW THAT IS SERVICE!!!! We love our car. My husband and I were BMW owners then he purchased an Equus and traded in my car for Genesis Coupe then G80.
My neighbor is about to purchase a G80!! We tell everyone about the car's performance and service is the best ever!! Thank you everyone at Hyundai Plano YOU ALL ROCK!!!

Woman in charge I found a bit snippy. The advisor was delightful but had no clue what was wrong and apparently no one else did either.

Lat again a poor service
The car was not even wash it was return as it was deliver, seats where out of place with service tag inside the dash, etc.

No idea what a luxury brand service should be!
