Asked to pay 50% upfront before they could make repairs. High Diagnostic chargees
I bought my 2018 BMW X5D into Getz auto and was told it would cost me approximately $600.00 to diagnose for while I had no heating and rear hatch not closing properly. After the diagnostics I was told that the total cost to repair would be over 2k. The technician told me I need to pay 50% upfront before they would repair my vehicle. He stated that this is there policy. I told at no time was I told this was required. Nor did I receive anything in writing stating this policy. I told them I would not pay anything upfront as this is not customary.
