I am confused on why your mechanic didn't replace the inner tie rod. He told me it may need replaced, gave me a quote then said it didn't need done. Then they did an alignment.
The car now drives worse. I can not understand why they would attempt to do an alignment when the inner rod needed replaced. I feel like a ethical mechanic would have told me to wait until i fixed the inner tie rod. A part I had already given permission for to be replaced but they decided since they could replace the outer without doing the inner they weren't going to.
