I brought in my moms Hyundai because it needs her engine replaced. There are several issues including an oil consumption issue. There is an extended warranty out for the oil consumption as well as she has a 3rd party warranty. The car was brought in and had at least 2 oil consumption tests or so we thought. The service advisor we were working with started ignoring our calls and so i scheduled the next appointment online. When going in the advisor we worked with acted like he had never met us before and did not know what was going on. They then put us with another service advisor who then told us that everything had been done wrong and that we had to start over and set a new appointment but they would get it done right. Now coming up to the appointment. They had her down for a regular oil change appointment as well as this new advisor we are working with acted like he did not speak to us as well. With the oil consumption test you pay for the first oil change to start the process and then everything goes through the warranty, but because of their mistakes she is being told she needs to pay out of pocket again. They have also stated their knowledge of how much oil her car is consuming, yet nothing is being done properly to fix the issue. Hopefully this review will raise some red flags and be escalated where it needs to. 7 years of myself working in the car industry and this is a HORRIBLE display of customer service as well as showing their service advisors have no idea what they’re doing and seem to be afraid to ask for help. The only reason this vehicle was brought to this dealer was because there were things that needed to go through Hyundai. Never again.
