John said he had his vehicle towed in on Thursday and was told by the employee it would be ready Friday morning. On Friday afternoon he called to check on the status and he was told a part did not come in and that it would be ready Monday morning. He called again Tuesday and he was told that someone did call him Monday to tell him that his vehicle was ready. He said he checked his messages and there were none. He said when he picked up his vehicle the overdrive light came on. It seems the idle was running low and when he starts the vehicle it skips.

Dear Sir, 
     I'm sorry to hear that you were unhappy with the service that was provided to you. I reviewed your file and found that your vehicle came in with a loose distributor due to someone throwing parts at it. We were able to replace the damaged components and get the ignition system working to find out that the vehicle had underlying problems that someone had been attempting to correct. At this point we continued diagnostics free of charge to find out at your fuel pump was not pumping fuel due to a poor quality install which we have documented pictures of we'd be happy to share with you. Due to this we had to special order a pump with the required hoses in order to properly repair. This is why we took the extra couple of days during repairs. 

The low idle your experiencing was due to the distributor in your vehicle being one tooth out and at over 40 degrees advaced at idle. When we set this to factory specifications of 13 to 17 degrees the idle was lowered due to this. Any misfires could have become more noticable. 

Once again we are very sorry that you were unhappy with the services you recieved but hope that this clarifies why we took so long and why you are experiencing a difference in the way your vehicle runs. It is very difficult to work behind someone that doesn't repair something right!
