PLEASE RUN IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION!!!!!!
If you're like most guys (myself included) your vehicle isn't merely transportation, it's an extension of you. It doesn't matter if it's a Rolls Royce Phantom or souped up Honda Civic, we guys love our vehicles plain & simple. When you run into a mechanical issue you seek out shops that will treat "your baby" as if it were "their baby". Upon receiving top notch service, we guys spread the word about the shop that we received the stellar service from.

INNOVATIVE IMPORTS IS NOT THAT SHOP, PLEASE BELIEVE ME!!!!

A little over two years ago I needed a new transmission installed. I sought out a shop that mainly repaired Mercedes so that I would receive the most knowledgeable tech available. After researching I went with Innovative. My initial Tranny install ran me roughly $5K no problem let's get'er done! The repair took two months but hey as long as I'm back in my S550 and cruising I didn't mind the wait. While replacing the Tranny I was made aware of a few other minor repairs (in addition to the tranny) which I promptly chipped in another $1500 for no problem. That brought me to a total initial investment of $6500.

After getting the vehicle back the 1st Tranny went bad after roughly 11 months. I took it back to Innovative and they replaced the bad tranny and charged me for just the labor of $1400. I paid the labor fee and a 2nd Tranny was installed - taking another almost 2 months to complete!

Just like unfortunate clock work, the 2nd Tranny failed after roughly 9 months or so. I took it back yet again in March 2019 to have a 3rd Tranny installed! I wasn't charged anything for labor this time which I wasn't about to pay anyway seeing as how to date I'm still $7900 into repair dollars and they kept my car from March 2019 until today May 17th!!!!

From day one (March 2019) we knew the tranny was bad because the dash display had the Tranny icon light shining as bright as could be - just like the previous two times I brought it back for the same exact problem. How is it you know the problem on day one but STILL manage to keep my vehicle for 3 months?

During these last 3 months I received false updates on what was actually happening with the parts along with inaccurate completion dates. Each week that went by I was either ignored or told it would only be next week before it's complete. My questions about the wait to get it repaired correctly and returned to me were side stepped and my calls were totally ignored.

Once I was able to get the owner on the phone I was hit with more excuses than a guy going to jail about what the hold up was all about. Parts not being available, not being able to locate an acceptable tranny to having the vehicle taken to another shop to complete the work - I heard ALL the excuses ever created.

Finally, after 3 months of straight BS, the 3rd Tranny is installed by a shop partnering with Innovative. I have zero hope/faith this 3rd replacement will perform up to par simply based on what I've gone through with the previous two Trannys.

If you place ANY value and/or importance on your
MONEY - VEHICLE - TIME
You need to do yourself a huge favor and take your business elsewhere!!!!
Trust me on this - you will be highly disappointed, frustrated and irritated!!!
The repairs will not be done correctly.
The repairs will stretch on FAR too long.
You will receive false information and updates.
You will receive every excuse known to man.
Your patience and sanity will be thoroughly tested.

I was a loyal returning paying ($7900 total to date) customer and look at what I went through - for an issue they KNEW day one was the reason my vehicle was brought back. I don't want anybody to experience the piss poor service I received so please take "your baby" to a shop that will take care of business the way business is supposed to be taken care of.

If you feel like flushing your money, time and patience down the toilet then head straight to Innovative because they won't let you down!!!!

I hope this helps just one person then I feel my disappointment was worth it.

TRUST ME - GO THE OTHER WAY - DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!!!!

$7900 spent and I'm now on my 3rd Tranny!!!!
DON'T DO IT - YOU WILL THANK ME LATER!!!

20 minutes after posting my review on what I went through I get a text from Innovative informing me that since I chose NOT to get my damaged axle repaired by them, the Tranny they took 3 months to install will NOT be covered under warranty!

WTF?
Are you serious?
$7900 and after 3 Tranny installs you think I'm going to trust you repairing my axle? How completely insane is that? This 3rd Tranny will more than likely fail and then we'll have to take this matter to court. Remind you they've had my vehicle for the last 3 months and only after I post a highly accurate negative review - I'm being told this 3rd Tranny will NOT be covered under warranty!

PLEASE TAKE HEED TO THIS NEW LAYER OF BS I'M BEING TOLD BY INNOVATIVE.
