Even though it was my first time calling him, Sal politely allowed me to bring car in same day for diagnosis. After diagnosing the defective part as a major component – the brains of the car (PCM) – which was replaced by the dealer a year ago and was under warranty, he didn’t try to pretend it was something else for which he could trump up repair charges. Through confirmation of my old work records, Sal called the dealer for me, explained the problem, and sent me there. He treated me as a family member – even though it was my first time there.
