Waste of Money
I would give ZERO stars if I could. My Tahoe AC was (and still is) in need of repair, and I chose Jason’s Garage because of the good reviews and claims that AC repair was one of their specialities. When we brought my vehicle in, we conveyed that a Chevy dealership in NH pinpointed the problem to be the condenser. We said we were open to their second opinion, because they are a local small business and figured they would be more honest than a dealership. Later that same day, the “diagnosis” the garage came back with was that the reason my AC was not blowing cold air was because of corrosion of the rear AC. The mechanic suggested we cut the rear tubes and cap them - and assured us that would fix the problem. Nearly $1,000 DOLLARS LATER…. I get my Tahoe back. Happy to have AC again. Less than ONE week later.. my AC stops blowing cold air again. We bring the Tahoe back to Jason’s. The mechanic THEN says that the issue is the condenser, which we had mentioned to them before! In order to offer any compensation, they wanted us to put forth another $1700 worth of work to ACTUALLY fix the problem. Obviously we did not agree to that after what they pulled before. So here I am.. in the middle of summer… with a 9 month old infant, no AC, and $1000 down the tube. Don’t waster your money on this place.
