Outstanding Experience at Jenkins Genesis of Ocala
I recently had the pleasure of purchasing a Genesis GV70 3.5 Sport SUV from Jenkins Genesis in Ocala, and I cannot speak highly enough of the exceptional service I received from start to finish.
From the moment I walked in, Creswell Williams made the experience smooth and stress-free. He was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and kind. Creswell took the time to answer all my questions and was a strong advocate for me during the price negotiation process. He ensured I felt confident and comfortable with my purchase, and I truly appreciated his professionalism and support.
Dwayne Lyons handled the financing, and he was equally impressive. He walked me through each of the available options with care, clearly explaining the value and benefits of the extras. Dwayne made what is often the most daunting part of car buying feel simple and even enjoyable.
When it came time for delivery, Regan Dean went above and beyond. He personally came to my home to walk me through every feature of the GV70, and he did so with great patience, kindness, and thorough knowledge. Regan’s warm personality and expertise truly stood out. He assured me I could call him directly with any questions—an offer that gave me peace of mind. I was genuinely impressed by his professionalism and can easily see him accomplishing great things in his future.

Terrible to deal with
The sales manager, Zachary Purvis and finance manager David Lenkowski were so nice during the pre-purchase process. Both answered phone calls and emails very quickly. As soon as the purchase was over, both did not answer emails, texts or phone calls. Had to get Genesis corporate involved to obtain required certified preowned paperwork. They received their sales and money and did not want to followup with a new customer. Worst car buying experience.

Genesis issue
When you buy a Lexus, You go to a Lexus dealership. When you buy an Infiniti, you go to a Infiniti dealership. When you buy a Genesis, you don’t go to a Genesis dealership. You go to a Hyundai genesis dealership. The problem with that is you get treated like a Hyundai buyer not a genesis Buyer. You get treated as if you bought a Hyundai accent or a Hyundai Elantra. You’re no different from my Hyundai buyer. However when you go to Lexus or Jag they definitely treat you differently because you buy a very expensive car. I bought the Genesis G90 would cost about $80,000. You would think you would get treated differently, you dont sad to say. Maybe with what I experience and letting the company know how I feel, hopefully there will be room for improvement.

Valet service but no loaner available
My Genesis had to have a recall corrected as well as an oil change. Also requested that clouding on headlights be corrected. When the car was returned, the delivery person said that the clouding issue could not be corrected.

But did not receive an explanation why.
