* DON’T DO BUSINESS HERE *
STORY TIME, sit down for this one. It’s a long read, but learn from my mistakes and his.

I recently got some Infamous wheels without TPMS. So, I buy some TPMS from Summit Racing and head down to Mega Discount Tire in Wylie on 5/21. They charge me $190 to put new TPMS in my wheels and put a tire on. Reasonable for a nice new business with an in-ground lift and all new machines I guess… Those TPMS end up not working (my luck) so I order some OEM ones.

Fast forward to today;
I head back up to Mega Discount Tire with my shiny new TPMS and explain to the front desk guy they didn’t work, and I’m here to pay another $190 because I’m a dumbass. They proceed to put the new TPMS in, after paying the front desk guy says I’m good and can take the truck from the shop floor since they’re done.

I proceed to back out of there bay and as I’m turning around the building I hear this metal on metal knocking sound and the steering feels weird. I reach my head out the window and low and behold my front wheel is doing the wave and about 2 seconds from coming off. I immediately stop and get out and notice both the driver side front and rear lug nuts were just threaded on by two threads.

I proceed to walk back to the bay with the truck just sitting on the side of the building and explain to Lamborghini Polo guy what happened, as he seems to be shop lead based on what I’ve seen. He doesn’t believe me and comes out to the truck and starts asking who did the left side, etc….

BIG FUCK UP, that could of ended terribly. But, I understand accidents happen and am just thankful I caught it. They proceed to wheel around they’re jacks and tighten the driver side and verify the passenger side is tightened. I see no damage on the wheels at that moment and proceed to get home.

As I’m programming the new sensors (which worked btw) I notice a gash missing off the rear face and gouges on my brake caliper which resulted from the movement of them not tightening the wheels properly or at all for that matter…

I drive back up there and explain the issue, and the owner who goes by the name of “Joe” based on his inscription patch says to pull it in so they can look at it. *This is the moment Owner Joe decides to hand it off to his minions and avoid me.* I pull it in to the bay and there is a long discussion with the heavier set front desk guy to which he ultimately says the most they will do is take it to a machine shop and get the face ground down until the gouge goes away. That’s not how this works from a business perspective, these are billet wheels and that is not a sufficient repair. So I go inside and ask for a receipt for my visit today, and also ask why Joe isn’t dealing with the issue as the owner and avoiding me. front desk guy avoids the answer and as I’m walking out I see joe sitting in a vehicle in the bay and ask say “ Joe, are you sure this is how you want to handle this? “ he laughs and says “ handle what? There’s no damage?!” Then he throws his hands up, gets out of the vehicle and walks over to my truck and says ” WHERE?! WHERE IS THE DAMAGE?! “ and laughs again.

At this point I can tell this is going to go nowhere and Joe has no idea how to account for his businesses mishap, or talk to me like a man and instead decides to act like a child. He then says it is nothing but a cosmetic issue and he would not pay the $495 to replace the wheel that his business damaged, and waves me out smiling and says “ bye, have a nice day! “ and tells me to leave.

Don’t do business here, point blank period.
