After having my car in for NYS Inspection at a Honda Dealer I had concerns over additional services quoted beyond NYS Inspection requirements and wanted a 2nd Opinion on my vehicle. Ken Delano performed a thorough check on my vehicle and told me there was nothing necessary to do other than to drive the vehicle…Oil leaks seemed to be mild from valve cover and timing case. He said he would be happy to look further for problems if I wanted to have the motor fully degreased and then drive for two weeks to recheck for any new leaks.
Lower control arm and bushing show wear but not any danger to operation…He agreed to replace the spark plugs at my request as they had 14 years on them and Honda suggests 7 year life cycle.
I would like to hear back from Ken on what the cost to replace the Gas Tank would be be as this service is suggested to be done after 15 years.
