Poor customer service
Condescending attitude, words, body language. Tried using 'threats', tried saying that he didn't 'need' the job because it was low paying. Ended up taking nearly 2 days for a job that should have been one.

Advice? Customer service 101 when talking to a customer.
1. Don't talk AT them.
2. Listen to what is being said or asked and then repeat it back in order to ensure that what is being asked is understood.
3. When you run a shop, don't quote one price for labor, then charge a higher price later. Just because the owner of the vehicle doesn't understand the law regarding auto repair work, doesn't mean that is how everyone who was involved in this situation is.

In closing, work on your customer service and communication skills. Flirting doesn't work with all women. Too bad, so sad.
