They told me about a service called a fuel induction service in order to clean parts of the motor, but my mechanic friend says they should’ve also recommended spark plug changes and other cleaning services on the phone call we had. When I mentioned this, he told me that he sent me a report, but because I don’t really know what caused the issue in my car, it was like looking at an encyclopedia. A little bit better communication is in order, and I would’ve liked to know the full price over the phone and not just the price of the service. The total doubled in price when I went to go pay as he left out the price of the diagnosis labor. I appreciate the work they did and I’ve never had a negative experience, but I would’ve liked better communication. I wouldn’t call this a negative experience, just one where I felt sort of judged for asking for more clarification.
