Unnecessary work without notification
My family and I have used this shop for all our repair needs for 3 years. In the last year, there have been instances where work was completed that was not originally discussed without a phone call to us to confirm the increase in cost. Most recently, we brought a part to be replaced and were told AFTER completion that the work was not necessary. We could have returned the part and avoided some, if not all, of the ship charges if we had been given the opportunity. I no longer recommend Pittsford Auto for any repair and will no longer take my vehicles there either.
