I had a confirmed reservation to pick up a Budget rental truck from this location on 5/16/20 at 9:00am. I even called to confirm that I would not have a problem picking up the truck on a Saturday morning due to Covid-19. I was assured over the phone that there’d be no problem. Mind you I made this reservation in February before the pandemic became a thing. So I drove from NJ to Burlington VT to help my daughter move out of her apartment. We showed up promptly at 9:00am to find a sign on the door reading “due to Covid-19 we are closed on Saturdays”. EXCUSE ME??? Does covid-19 only affect people on Saturdays??? So I call the number on the sign as instructed to do so and I get voicemail! No return phone call leaving me and my daughter totally screwed! This is UNACCEPTABLE especially since I received an email confirmation THE DAY BEFORE and spoke to some moron two weeks prior who assured me I’d have problem. Well guess what...I had a huge problem. Never again. POOR POOR POOR!
