Terrible experience
I would not recommend this mechanic shop to anyone.

I called the day before bringing my car in and asked how much it would cost to install a starter on my 2017 Honda Accord. I was quoted $169 and specifically asked if that was a set price. I was told yes. I was also told that if I brought my own starter, the price would be higher. I agreed and made it clear that I would be bringing my own starter the next day.

The next day, my car was towed to the shop. No diagnostic was performed. They did not inspect the car or confirm the issue before starting work. They immediately began installing the starter based solely on my assumption that it might be the problem.

While they were working, I noticed multiple mechanics repeatedly coming to my car and trying to figure something out. When I asked what was going on, I was told to “hold on.” When I asked directly if the car was still not starting and whether a diagnostic had been done, I was told, “You told me it was the starter.” I am not a mechanic. That is exactly why I brought my car to a shop.

After realizing the car still did not work, they then changed the price to over $300, claiming it was for labor and installation. After pushing back, I was able to get the price reduced to $195, but this was still more than originally quoted and was charged despite the fact that:
• No diagnostic was done beforehand
• The issue was never properly identified
• The car was still not working

I was then told I would need to take my car to the dealership.

This shop took advantage of the situation instead of being honest and professional. A reputable mechanic diagnoses a vehicle before replacing parts, not after. The lack of transparency, changing prices, and poor communication make this place completely untrustworthy.

I would strongly advise others to take their business elsewhere.
