Transmission World was opened in 1974. Many people may remember the first location on Highway 97 across from the old Mountain View Mall. In 1998, Transmission World found a new home in the newly constructed shop located on Service Road. Scott Wyke bought Transmission World from its previous owner and blended it with his thriving General Transmission World was opened in 1974. I have a 1936 DeSoto street rod and have been looking for a place that was willing to do some routine maintenance. As requested, Antonio inspected the brakes, replaced the rear brake shoes and bled the system. As I thought, one rear axle seal was leaking and that was also replaced. Mass airflow sensor was also cleaned. I was in no rush and when I retrieved my car the cost was what I thought it would be. I am very happy with the professionalism of SP Auto and their friendly associates. I will return the next time I need something done and am glad to have found someone willing to work on a street rod.
