Alternator/electrical issues
After two new alternator installations at two different auto shops in two different states, costing in excess of $2,000.00, while traveling from Florida to Tennessee for Christmas with family, and a third break down while stopping in Clanton Alabama, initially to see the town we have been watching on television as fans of Coghill Farm, and other you tubers in that area, the team at Southern Dixie Auto Repair were fantastic at diagnosing the problem, getting the electrical shorting out situation resolved, and getting us back on the road home. They were extremely professional and equipped to zero in on the problem, ruling out what other mechanics had thought would be the problem (another extremely costly repair which we had no more funds to pay for), and they had us back on the road in a matter hours. Still nervous after what we had been through after the previous five days, but we finally got back home at 3:30 am, so relieved to pull into our own carport. Thank you guys at Southern Dixie Auto, you’re the greatest!!!
