Mark, We are sorry that you were not happy with your recent visit to our shop. This is the reason that we contact everyone so that we are sure we did the best job that we could. In your case there is a reason that your car was not washed when you received it. Your car came to us directly from another shop who could not repair your convertible top with the top down. It had been there for over a week We discovered that the top switch was broken and after getting your approval ordered one from the manufacturer Audi. When the part came from Audi, several days later, we installed it. The top still would not work and since it now required Audi manufacturer software the car needed to go to the Audi dealer. The car had now been here 5 days including a weekend. Since the top remained down we could not wash the car. We did not charge you for the switch or labor since we could not fully repair the car. We did use air to blow off what dust we could.We thought that the shop who brought your car to us would be picking it up and taking it to the Audi dealer from here. I hope that this helps explain why we did not clean your car up to our usual standards. Since you came to us indirectly I hope that you understand how this happened and try us for another repair.
