They didnt tell me it was 185 for diagnostic just said they would tell me what was wrong with it and then if I wanted it done they would charge me. But they surprised me with a bill when I didnt want a junk yard transmission put in for 4000.

We are sorry for your bad experience and the percevied miscommunication. However, there are signs in the office and outside our door and on the paperwork which you signed that our diagnostic fee is $185.00. My techs cannot work for free. Also, you were not given a bill for $4000.00, you were given an estimate. The transmission cannot be repaired and Mazda did not have a transmission so we found one with very low mileage at a junkyard and gave you an estimate for that transmission.
