This company doesn't even deserve one star. I have been dealing with them since December of last year. A friend who used them quite often referred me to them.
I dropped my car off because my service engine light was on. They ran the codes and, at first, told me the O2 sensor(s) was bad. They called me later that day and told me I had to have my catalytic converter replaced and also told me that usually, when one goes bad, the other is sure to follow. Since I am not an expert, I agreed to have them both replaced. So a week later, I picked up my vehicle and drove it work. While driving, I heard this metal rubbing sound, similar to bad brake rotors. I called them back around 4pm the same day and was told that the mechanic had left for the weekend. So I was stuck with this awful high-pitched noise coming from my tires. Fast forward to about three weeks later, my service engine light came back on, and since it happened on a Sat. Sure Automotive is closed on weekends, I stopped by the closest auto part store for the free diagnostic test.
Of course, I received the same code telling me it was my o2 sensors. The ones I had replaced and spent nearly $4500. After talking with the Sure that following Monday, I was told by Jessica that I needed to drop the car with them a full day and they will take a look at it. I said ok and scheduled a time that week. In the meantime, Jessica called me later that day to tell me several issues could cause that code to come on again. The immediately trigger a red flag. I first asked why you didn't give me these scenarios from the beginning before I paid them nearly$4500 with them. Her new recommendations would have cost me even more money. So that evening, I looked under my vehicle at their work and noticed something strange. The catalytic converters they replaced didn't look like those just put on 3 weeks ago. There was rust all around it, and the bolts didn't look like they had been touched since the car was built. I took pictures and showed them to several people I know who are very knowledgeable about cars, especially catalytic converters, and they clearly told me that those parts ARE NOT NEW! I took the pictures to Sure and asked them again to tell me everything they did on my vehicle. I even asked for the parts number and a copy of the warranty, and they claimed their computer was working correctly. They swore up and down that the parts were new. I told Jessica I wanted to speak to the manager, and of course, he wasn't in. Had to call back several times to track him down. When I finally talked to Jerry Richardson and told him what I discovered, he yelled at me and then HUNG THE PHONE UP IN MY FACE!!!
Needless to say, they still haven't returned my calls or addressed my complaint, and I no longer trust them to do any work on my vehicle. So I know this is a long complaint, but PLEASE STAY AWAY. They are a thirsty business that will overcharge you and not do the work. What's even worse is that when I went to drop the vehicle off, a guy walked in and complained about them not doing what he paid for. Now I am that guy and hope through this review, you won't be the next person!!!!
