Now they only now responded to my bad review. NO ONE FROM THE INTERNET CAR LOT CALLED ME BACK LET ALONE LEFT A MESSAGE. That is a 100% lie lie lie. I called them on 10-19-23 at 9:04 am and talked to Billy Rager and described my issue and forwarded the emails that The Internet Car lot sent me about the price reduction and the email I received from TrueCar about the price reduction ......no call back. I called them on 10-20-23 at 2:42 pm and left a message for Ryan Cook (General Manager) to call me......no call back. I called them on 10-21-23 at 11:32am and left a message for Ryan to call me back and Billy asked what the call was about and I replied you know and he replied "The Sienna" and I said yes......no call back.
On July 30th I received an email from JJ Whitten about a price drop on the vehicle I was looking at.
On July 31th I received an email from TrueCar about a price drop of 948.00 to a price of 18,987.00
On August 2nd I received an email from TrueCar telling me again about the price drop to 18987.00. I have all these email. So the original price of the car was 19,935.00 when I started looking at it on July 29th. Somehow in the paperwork The Internet Car Lot came up with a price of 20,995.00. Where they cam up with that I have no idea. TrueCar doesn't lower the price of a vehicle, the dealer does and it is reported on TrueCar. The Internet Car Lot could not give a rats butt about my calls UNTIL I posted a poor review on several sites. Now I finally get a call but they responded the way I would think that any BAD car lot would........with nothing but lies and blaming everything on the customer. Again look at the BBB reviews. You see the same thing over and over again. I wish I would have spent halt the time researching The Internet Car Lot reviews as I did researching the vehicle. Yes, I signed the paper work. It was all done over the internet and email. Yes I saw the numbers but I thought they charged me sales tax and fees and that was the difference. It wasn't until I went to transfer the title to my home state that it was noted that the sales tax was not paid in Nebraska and I would have to pay it here AND that the price I told the DOT 18,987.00 was incorrect and that is was 20,995.00. This was a 2008.00 difference than what was advertised on TrueCar AND their website on the morning of August 2. The email I received from TrueCar at 5:16am stated that the price was 18,987.00 and I filled out the financing mid morning on August 2. If this isn't bait and switch BAIT=18,987.00 and SWITCH=20,995.00 I don't know what is! Again I have ALL of the emails and documentation to prove everything I have reported. The Internet Car Lot's response was we tried calling.............................lies!
