They saved our vacation!
Where do I start? Absolutely amazing service, above and beyond, there are no words that describe how well we were taken care of. From Wisconsin and on a family trip with our camper van and cargo trailer. Transmission and water pump issues, googled mechanic nearby and saw that Shade tree had great reviews so that’s where we went. They were booked and busy but still looked at our van quick and unfortunately had to tell us the news: not cheap and not quick. Transmissions are never cheap and finding the part and getting it shipped takes time. Rudy is a master of her craft, she found us one at a good price but would be several days to get here. Stranded as we were, her and Bethany made recommendations on camp grounds and car rentals. Rudy even helped us get our trailer to our campsite! Then magically our transmission showed up early and we had our van back and running great! They looked everything over so well and made sure we were road ready for the trek back to Wisconsin and that we would be safe. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone but I’m sure the town of Ludington already knows this as we heard nothing but great things from locals while we were there. If I lived in this area, it’s the only mechanic service I would use. Would give them 10 stars if I could. Thank you Rudy and all of the crew at shadtree. We will never forget this trip or you. ?

excellent shop!
I had some electrical problems with my old Volvo that they were able to solve quickly and at a fair price! I live in California and was only in Ludington on vacation but they still called me a few days afterwards to follow up to make sure I was satisfied. What more could you ask for?!

Top Notch Work & Service
Been driving my Jeep Wrangler TJ for going on 12 years without heat. In Michigan this is no small issue! I tried everything for years to fix this.

It came down to the heater core needed to be replaced. To do this the entire dashboard has to be removed right down to the firewall. Everything has to come off.

That jeep will now cook you out of it! Also had them adjust the headlights as I hit a deer a few years ago and they would blind oncoming traffic even when I had the dims on.

They cleaned the dashboard. Everything. Headlights shine like when the jeep was new!

They are not the lowest price to have repairs done. They are the best! You get what you pay for and Shade Tree is worth every penny :)

Outstanding
Every now and then you encounter a service facility that is so outstanding you know you've found a permanent service home for your vehicles. Shadetree is such a facility and will continue to be the only one to whom we entrust our vehicles for general service.

Questionable Quote
Derek gave me a verbal quote of $510 to do the work on my van. When I brought it in to be fixed he said it would be $175 more. I showed him the paper work that he gave me and what he had told me the price would be. He admitted that he remembered quoting that price. He said he would make it right, and he did. The total came to $550 and I was very happy with that. They even fixed my rusty door hinge for free. The guys all treated me with respect and did not make me feel bad for questioning the price. You run a great shop with honest workers. Thank you.

Fantastic
I was shopping around locally for repairs to my Truck. With over 100,000 miles I figure the dealer is no longer involved. I almost had a different shop do the repairs that would have cost me more money and wasn't really the problem. You guys found the correct malfunction and fixed it in one day. Your professional shop will soon be the talk of the town. I have all ready told a lot of friends about what happened.

Family, not just a service
Again, I found myself needing immediate assistance with my car. I stopped by the STM and was promptly greeted as a previous customer. Moreover, I wasn't "talked down to" by someone, but was able to understand in laymans terms what was needed to fix my car. I trust them.
