inspection 466 dollars
YOU spent a week with the car in the shop - charged me 466 dollars - nothing fixed and not real diagnostics since its not fixed still - how would you feel about that kind of service

Oil change in Honda element
Unfortunately this is the second time I've had the oil changed and I have found that the oil leaks from underneath the vehicle and it's not the plugger anything of that nature it's the fact that there's a plate underneath where the oil drain is and when you drain the oil it goes into that played and later on leaks out on my driveway or any place I park.

Robert said he rebuilds his own transmissions and he went to them so a shaft could be disassembled. He wanted them to keep the parts in order, so he could put them back together again in order. They took 45 minutes to an hour to do the job and they put the parts in a box. He told them he wanted them to put the parts back on and needed it done that day. The guy he spoke with was rude. The employee said they did not have guys waiting around to do the work, and that they could not do it that day, but maybe the next day. He needed the work done that day. today. He went somewhere else to get it reassembled. There he found out that the parts were not in order and it took a long time to reassemble it. He was not happy with them and would not recommend them.

Debra said she is not really happy with them. The employee they were speaking with was very rude and condescending. He was speaking loudly. It seemed he was having a bad day. The employee apologized to them towards the end and he told them he was having a bad day. The repair is being done elsewhere. She wouldn't recommend this business because she doesn't want someone else to get treated in the way they were. He was getting confrontational and he was being argumentative with her boyfriend.

We came out side and tried to jump start you but vehicle did  not start right away. You told the mechanic you didnt want him to help you and you had your own jump cables. Sorry you were not happy.

Theater of the Absurd
This was not a standard service visit. I'm sure the mechanic who worked on it needed a stiff drink at the end of the day. Nothing to be learned about the quality of Trans Tek service except everybody kept their temper.

a little suprised
Brought car in for an inspection and oil change. Needed a bulb for rear brake light. Charged $46 for labor!!! I'm thinking twice about going back.

The labor to replace your brake light bulb was $8.50, the labor for the oil change was $17.00, and the charge for the New York State Inspection (which happens to fall under labor) was $21.00, which equals a total labor charge of $46.50. Poor Phone skills
When I called to make an appointment I was asked all of the usual information and that was okay. It was when I was put on hold and then asked all of the information all over again that was frustrating. I do not know who I spoke to because the femal receptionist never said.
