To start the gentleman at the front desk who checked me in didn't even document everything I told him. We took our van to them for basic transmission work, fix a fuel leak, and find out why the vehicle wasn't starting properly.
They told me I needed and new fuel line and that we should replace our fuel pump because they already had to removed the tank. I said okay and they performed the work. Bill was $200 over what they had quoted and took the 5 days to complete.
Within 100 miles van was having trouble starting for my wife, we took to Gerald's our normal mechanic and was told the fuel pump wasn't getting enough pressure and we most likely had a faulty fuel pump. So we took it back to tupperway and they diagnosed it as a cam shaft sensor after I told about the fuel pressure problem. I asked them when I picked up my van if they tested the fuel pressure and was told by their mechanic they couldn't test it because they didn't have the proper tool to check the fuel pressure.
So I took the van to AAA auto care center on Dorchester because warranty work had to be done through Napa certified mechanic. Low and behold the fuel pump was bad!!! Tupperway was completely wrong
and the fuel pump was bad like I told them.
And AAA fixed problem that tupperway had no clue about!
Lastly Todd the owner and David the service manager were completely rude and disrespectful to me and my wife. Todd didn't understand the difference between a lean and rich fuel mixture and explained lean as having too much fuel. David was demeaning and sexist in the way he spoke to my wife!
