Let me start of by giving you a little background on my interaction with Twin City Hyundai off of Airport Highway.
I came in on Janurary 11th at 11:30 to a friendly staff member in the service department. He was quick to meet my needs at the time. Little did I know, I
was heading into a scenerio I had never experienced in my 37 years of car ownership or dealing with dealerships.
I left that day after being told I would be contacted with a day or two with updated news on my vehicle ( showing some codes on the dash).
I gave them a few days to get back with me, no big deal they are busy & it was a second vehicle & knew they were most likely covered up.
After a week, I called I was told we are getting ready to look at it & we will be calling soon.
This went on for 5 weeks I had left many messages & got no return calls or follow up of any kind.
On Monday, I finally get a call stating my oil was changed & their was just no time for them to look at my car (I didn’t request an oil change) and to come and get it.
Had my car almost 6 weeks & did what???
I soon discovered my passenger mirror was broken with a huge scuff mark on the outside.
I thought again, they are busy, we will just go immediately back, leave it.
They will be honest & take care of my mirror (mirror is loose on the car & not sure it would stay on ride from parking lot)
We were told go eat we will take care of it.
No problem.
We go eat!
I get a call from Matt, the service manager, stating the car was not damaged at thier business & they would not be taking care of it.
Stating the car parked by mine was white & it was a blue car that scuffed my mirror.
That’s of what concern to me?!?
It could have been a tool box, a ladder or anything that was brought by it.
My concern was getting it fixed.
I questioned that 2 cars that need mechanical work sit side by side for 6 weeks with no movement at all & nothing went by them in that amount of time?!?
I am completely sickened that I paid these people $161 to get a broken mirror that has to now be replaced.
They denied any responsibility & left it for me to fix it!
I get the car with nothing repaired & charged for an oil change that I didn’t ask for in addition to daminging my car.
Sadly, I would never recommend such a place.
I feel they were not honest about anything, but were quick to charge me for doing absolutely nothing.
And now onto my new job & that’s letting everyone on the internet know how you get the shaft @ TWIN CITY HYUNDAI off of Alcoa Highway.
