Deceptive Practices and Actively engages in Predatory Towing
Tyson Auto Repair actively supports illegal towing practices with "King Towing," which wholly operates out of this location (and violates Google Business listing regulations). I experienced it firsthand and will prove everything here.

They towed my car from a lot in Metro Plaza within minutes after exiting the vehicle and being legally parked. The immediate timing makes it evident that they have a scout actively looking for cars to tow: this is an illegal practice in New Jersey.

When asked, they claimed the property owners contacted them to request the towing. However, this doesn't line up, because based on the timing it means they would have reported the incident the moment I stepped out of the car to go shopping - highly unlikely!

What makes it more suspicious is that when I asked for further information, they didn't even know the name of the business or the person who reported the tow. They said they only had a general number, supposedly to the property manager, but no idea who calls them - obviously passing the buck to avoid having proof of a violation.

So, they have an anonymous person who report tows and conveniently arrive within minutes to get the job done.

There are only two possibilities that make sense:
1. They either have an illegal scout surveying cars
2. Someone inside the property administration feeds them tips who do not want to be exposed (possibly getting kickbacks to tow cars).

Besides the fact they couldn't prove the tow was justified, they also charge storage fees under 24 hours.

Both illegal practices under predatory towing laws in New Jersey.

If you are ever involuntarily towed by king Towing, it is very likely you can recover your expenses if you check what they did against NJ predatory towing laws. I found about multiple violations - you can find more similar complaints on Reddit and other social media. This is a "class action lawsuit in the making.

If you need a tow or any other repair services,I'd advise you to try to find a more reputable business.

PS: There is no visible evidence that proves King Towing is not a part of Tyson Auto Repair to the consumer. There is no actual physical separation of their operations or signange that indicates King Towing at the location. It seems like they created a separate listing/llc for the towing activities to protect their Auto Repair business with a shell business. Yet another shady practice that is ILLEGAL in NJ and violates typical business listing regulations that explicity states "To avoid suspension, they must have separate, permanent signage, distinct entrances, etc."
