Truck Repair
My overall experience with Whitey's was good. I've only have the truck back for a week, but all seems to be in order. Reason I didn't give them 5 stars is due to (2) things that I think excellent service providers do that Whitey's can improve on. 1) Just call people and give them a status from time to time. My truck was in the shop for 2 weeks. I would expect a call every 3 days to give me an update. I called every time for an update. I never received a call from the service manager, who should especially call on a Friday and give an update in order to close out the week with everyone on the same page. 2) Have some attention to detail. For example. My front wheel liners were taken out. Every hole had a push pin when the truck went in. It came back with maybe 10% back in place. Broken ones were left in the hole but not fixed, and I only figured this out when my front wheel was dragging on the liner when I turned sharp. That kind of stuff speaks nothing to the great mechanics and overall work they do, but it is important in my opinion to being best of the best.
