Comfortable for a Mid-Sized Car

Great to drive, has a reasonably comfortable ride, has modest amenities for a luxury car, and has good performance with acceptable gas mileage. I like the styling. Alas, it doesn't carry the cache' of 50's and 60's Cadillacs.

Love the car, hate the transmission

I’ve owned my ‘19 XTS for 15 months now and can tell you while I love the fit and finish and the overall comfort of it, I hate the way the transmission shifts. Dealer says it’s a typical GM transmission. Well, I didn’t spend the money I did on a Cadillac to hate how the transmission shifts. So, there may not be a next Cadillac for me. But, other than that, the car is smooth and comfortable.
