Reliable but odd repairs

GMC made a good 8 cylinder truck with lots of bells and whistles. Sirius Bose radio, drop down dvd, zone ac controls, Fold-down 3rd row seating and retractable sunroof. Ignition switch, throttle body, front end control arms and bearings and a cracked fuse box. AC system seems slower/ weaker than other trucks I’ve owned. Comfortable and mainly reliable and tows a small boat well.

Great vehicle!

After my car was totalled in late 2019, I purchased a 2006 GMC Envoy XL SLE with 168000 miles for $2900 from a private party. I really bought it to get by until purchasing something else....but the longer I own it the more I enjoy it. No squeaks or rattles. Extremely comfortable seats. Tons of room and 3 row seating. Controlled ride, fast, and quiet. And a great premium factory 6 disc in dash system with satellite and OnStar...unbelievable sound. Needless to say, I plan to keep it and anticipate many more thousands of reliable service. GMC really got it right!

Excellent

Since I have this SUV my driving experience has been a lot of fun. It is easier to drive that the previous cars that I had before. It has a high load capacity that allows the driver to buy whatever he needs. It also has enough space so that taller and heavier people fit comfortably in the car.

Best car we have had

Our Envoy has been an outstanding family car. Multiple high mileage trips over the past 11 years and still gunning strong at nearly 200,000 miles. People still can’t believe how old it is by looking at her.
