Love the Car in Spite of Some Engine Issues

I love my hybrid and I regularly get about 55 MPG with my driving routine. What I don't love is how the engine performs in the MN winter. I don't know if it's just my car or the model as a whole, but when the weather gets a little bit below freezing, I've had the check engine light turn on every winter and my mileage goes down to about 32 MPG with the electric motor not helping at all. This is especially true when it's less than 0° F out, but also still a thing at about 35°F. I've brought the vehicle into the dealership and the mechanics have no idea why my engine performs so poorly in the winter conditions. Overall though, it is a great car in every other way!

Great Efficient Vehicle

I love how much mpg this car gets. It has a big size of a trunk than you would expect from looking at the car. Only complaint is that when the heat is on during the cold months, I notice a huge drop in mpg, if I brace the cold and turn off heat, I hey the normal 50+ mpg again.

2023 Elantra Hybrid is a winner

I like my car very much. I love that I can go over 500 miles on a fill-up of gas. I feel good about its reduced impact on the environment.. It’s comfortable and handles well.This is my first hybrid, but my fourth Elantra, and I have had no major problems with any of them. It’s not perfect, of course, but the only complaints I can think of at the moment are 1) too much road /wind noise, 2) you can’t lift the windshield wipers to clean under them, and 3) it’s not easy to get in and out of.

Awesome Commuter

Couldn't ask for better bang for your buck in a feature pack vehicle that gets mind blowing fuel economy. Heated and ventilated leather seats, Apple carplay, remote start, Bose audio and navigation for less than 30K.
