great car - coming from Toyota and not regretting switching to Hyundai

great vehicle - coming from Toyota (Corollas / Camrys) and not regretting switching to Hyundai. The gear switch / transmission could be a bit better and MPG even better (routinely reaches low 50s is I drive at speed limits) , but is is already very good. A lot for the money!

Elantra Hev 2025

Overall, a good vehicle. Did experience the A/C going out 8 months into owning the brand new car. Was fixed and the sir and heat both work great now. The bluelink app allows me to lock/unlock and warm up or cool my car from home and that is my favorite feature. Small saving on gas.

Outdated transmission

Completely outdated transmission, car struggles with acceleration, trim level is totally confusing. I have a car from the same brand with an SE trim that's better equipped than this one, which is SEL.

Decent and unexceptional

Overall so far a good car, nothing particularly exceptional; would give it another star but corporate Hyundai seems to be very confused about which car I bought. The "Owner's Manual" is generic and seems to be for a dozen different models ("If your car is equipped with..."), and I am still getting emails insisting I have features that I don't have.
